On November 26, 2021, The HOM/FC Lt Gen Ishwar Hamal reviewed Fiji Batt 8/ Task Force DAIMANI II’s medals parade in Camp Ziouani.

The CMS, the OGG-T Chief, and other senior UNDOF military and civilian staff members were also present during the ceremony. HOM/FC Lt Gen Ishwar Hamal gave medals to selected medal recipients, including the formation's front rank, while CMS and OGG-T Chief Lt Col Christopher McKay awarded medals to the middle and rear ranks, respectively, on this momentous day. The HOM/FC thanked the troops for their dedication, loyalty, and commitment in the  AOR when speaking to them. He also emphasized the importance of all Fiji contingents' contributions to the mission's mission mandate of maintaining peace and stability in their area of responsibility.
