On 7th of february,2020, HO/TO between outgoing  Nepalese Mechanized Company (NMC) commander Lt Col Amar Singh Thapa and incoming NMC commander Lt Col Jayson S.J.B. Rana  was conducted at NMC premises in the presence of Acting Force Commander Brig Gen Maureen O'Brien and other dignitaries of UNDOF.

The outgoing and incoming commanders exchanged UN flag and the Nepalese national flag as welll as the signed HO/TO booklet during the ceremony. Lt Col Amar singh Thapa was decorated with UN peace service medal by the Acting force commander Brig Gen Maureen O,Brien for his service to UNDOF as  a contingent commander. Lt Col Thapa delivered his farewell speech as he bidded farewell to the mission leadership team, colleagues and contingent members. A/FC O'Brien also extended her farewell words and thanked Lt Col Thapa for his relentless service  as well as expressed best wishes for his future endeavour.
