November 22, 2013 – It was time to say goodbye to the 14th rotation after six months of tour of duty with UNDOF. The official signing over of command between LtCol Mumuksh Mehra and LtCol Sanjeev Harial was witnessed by the Deputy Force Commander, Brig Gen Hari B. Basnet.

In his speech, the DFC congratulated the outgoing contingent and welcomed the incoming contingent. He was thankful to the 14th rotation for stepping up beyond their responsibilities to fill the gaps left void by the withdrawn contingents and wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

The outgoing CO Logistic Battalion, LtCol Mumuksh Mehra expressed his gratitude towards all members of UNDOF for their continued support and cooperation. “I take this opportunity to thank you all for the co-operation that I personally and all members of my contingent received from you,” he said. “For us it has been a wonderful experience interacting with you and we hope that as we leave we leave a little bit of us with you,” he added.

LtCol Mehra also wished the incoming contingent luck, success and happiness and hoped that they would receive the same support as they did during their tenure. “On behalf of my entire contingent I also wish you luck, success and happiness and am confident that the 15th Indian Contingent will receive the same co-operation as we did during our tenure,”he said.
