06 Jan 2025 - On 28 December 2024, the remains of the late Brigadier General Amitabh Jha was interred in his home country, India.
On the same day, a vigil was held in UNDOF HQ, Camp Faouar in his honour and memory. The Acting Head of Mission/Force Commander Major General Patrick Gauchat highlighted the Late General’s achievements and contributions to achieving UNDOF’s mandate and praised him for service to peacekeeping.
