Chief Supply Chain Management
Mr. Henry Antwi Nuamah is the Chief of Supply Chain Management at the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF). He has been instrumental in establishing the Supply Chain Management pillar of the mission, which was successfully set up in 2019. In his current role, he oversees the full spectrum of supply chain functions, including Procurement, Acquisition & Contracts Management, Transport, Supply, Property Management, Movement Control, and Medical Services.
Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Procurement Officer at UNDOF and previously as a Procurement Officer with the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).
Before joining the United Nations, Mr. Nuamah held several senior procurement and supply management positions in the United Kingdom, including his role as Head of Purchasing and Supply at Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust, London, UK & Head of Strategic Procurement and Supply at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Procurement from the University of Glamorgan, UK, and also completed professional certification in Procurement and Supply Management at Croydon Business School, UK. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS), United Kingdom, and has served as an examiner for the CIPS professional examinations.
