Under Secretary General (USG) for Peace Operation visit to UNDOF January 24
The Under Secretary General (USG) for Peace Operations, Mr Jean-Pierre LACROIX visited Syria from 06 to 08 Jan 24.
Nepali contingents members & Staff Officers were honored with UN medal by HoM/FC Major General Nirmal Kumar Thapa and leadership of UNDOF
UMIC Medal Parade was held on 25 August 2023 at UNP80. HoM/FC Major General Nirmal Kumar Thapa along with other leadership of UNODF honored the UMIC forces with the UN Medal for their contribution for the peace in region.

Welcome Address from Force Commander & Head of Mission UNDOF
As Force Commander & Head of Mission I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our guests attending the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) Diplomat’s Day.
The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) was established on 31 May 1974 and it is a great honor for me to assume the leadership of this UN mission on the 15 March 2016 at a very challenging period in UNDOFs existence.
