Lt Gen Ishwar Hamal, UNDOF Head of Mission and Force Commander visited the Mt. Hermon Complex, AOR of Force HQ Infantry Support Unit, NEPCON IX on 7^th APR 2021. Force Commander was welcomed by DCO NEPCON on his arrival and, a Guard of Honour was presented by unit.

The Force Commander was accompanied by MA to FC Lt Col Suraj Gurung to UNP 12A, Hermon South and Hermon Base in AOR North respectively. All ranks of each UNPs were excited and delighted on his arrival. During his visit the FC interacted with all ranks wherein he expressed his utmost satisfaction on visiting the UNPs of NEPCON IX and appreciated all ranks for the discipline, effort, and motivation for performing excellent job and to keep themselves COVID-free. He also expressed his pleasure on cohesive functioning of unit. He encouraged all troops to work more diligently and solve any complexities by self-actualization, determination, and teamwork.
