On 30^th Mar 2021, Head of Mission /Force Commander Lt Gen Ishwar Hamal had a meeting with H.E. Mrs. Hanna Ama Nyarko, Ambassador of Republic of Ghana to Israel, accompanied by Mr. William Anani-Abotsi, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Ghana. HE Ambassador was welcomed by FC at Camp Ziouani, on her arrival a Guard of Honour was presented by FIJIBATT.

 During the meeting FC briefed Her Excellency about various aspects of the mission; security situation of UNDOF AOR, effective implementation of the mandate, safety and security of the UN personnel, operational activities and precautionary measures undertaken and applied during COVID -19. FC also apprised the dedication and outstanding performances that the Ghanaian staff officers and members demonstrated on UNDOF and UNTSO. FC expressed his sincere thanks for the contribution that the government of Ghana and Ghanaian Armed Forces have been providing for a noble cause of peace in Golan.  

 HE Ambassador appreciate the UNDOF’s contribution to bring peace and sustainability in Golan. She intimated the policy of the government of Ghana and Ghanaian Armed Forces to provide full assistance to the mission in all possible way. 

 The visit was concluded with working lunch prepared by INDCON at Camp Ziouani and followed by group photograph.
