A solemn ceremony of raising the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place at the Camp Faouar on 7th May 2024. The ceremony was attended by the HoM/FC, Lieutenant General Nirmal Kumar Thapa, Mission Leadership Team

The Irish Contingent (IRCON) haveofficially handed over the responsibility and authority to the Kazakhstan Contingent (KAZCON). Force Reserve Coy (FRC) transfer of authority ceremony was overseen by the HoM/FC Lt Gen Nirmal Kumar Thapa  in Camp Faouar.
