UNDOF VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION 2020

On 21st February 2020, UNDOF conducted inter-contingent UNDOF volleyball competition  at UNDOF Headquarter, Camp Faouar. Altogether  six teams from  Nepalese Mechanized Company (NMC), Force Reserve Company (FRC), Indian Logistic Contingent (INDCON), Fiji Batt (FB), Uruguayan Mechanized Infantry Company (UMIC) along with Staff Officers' team participated the competition.

UNDOF Chief Of Staff (COS) Col Martin Alvarez inaugurated the competition by handing over the  ball to match officials.The tournament was conducted on League/ Knock out basis. The final match was played between NMC and FB in which NMC won the tournament by defeating  FB. Pte Vasuca from FB was adjudged as the best player of the tournament. COS Col Martin Alvarez awarded the Best Player, Runner Up and Winner trophies to Pte Vasuca, FB and NMC. While concluding the tournament, COS Col Martin Alvarez congratulated the winning team and expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participating teams.He also expressed his desire to conduct such sporting events on varieties of sports by UNDOF in coming days.
