On 17 August 2020, UNDOF Head of Mission and Force Commander (HoM/FC) Major General Ishwar Hamal visited OPs 56 and 72 of United Nations Truce Supervision Organization's (UNTSO) Observer Group Golan (OGG), followed by a visit to UN Position (UNP) 32 -  manned by the Nepalese Mechanized Company (NMC). HoM/FC was briefed on ground by the OP commanders, and about the operational activities in UNP 32.

The HoM/FC spoke with the commanders and personnel in each OP and UNP. He praised their professionalism, and praised them for their dedication and hard work - particularly with respect to the increased difficulties of operating during the Covid-19 pandemic.
