On 14 August 2020, UNDOF Head of Mission and Force Commander (HoM/FC) Major General Ishwar Hamal, officially visited the Level One Plus Hospital in Camp Faouar. The HoM/FC was initially greeted by Officer in Command, Lt. Col. Dr. Narayan Thapa and senior hospital medical staff, which was followed by a situational briefing presented by Maj. Dr. Mallika Rayamajhi.

The HoM/FC observed various departments and modules of the Level One Plus hospital, with a focus on the surgical and intensive care capabilities, along with the COVID-19 isolation bay, medical bunker and the UNDOF medical laboratory.  

The HoM/FC finally addressed the Level One Plus Hospital Staff, and appreciated their efforts towards UNDOF, this has lifted the moral of the medical personnel to work with higher resolve in the coming days.
