On 05 March 2021, the Deputy Force Commander Brigadier General Maureen O'Brien presented the Chief Of Staff Col Martin Alvarez with his UN Service Medal.

After 16 months of her 18 month tour of duty in UNDOF, Brigadier General Maureen O'Brien of Ireland's Defence Forces today received her UN Service Medal in a small, Covid-19 adherent ceremony in Camp Faouar, Syria.

Lt Gen Ishwar Hamal, UNDOF Head of Mission and Force Commander, visited all UNP's of Nepali Mechanized Infantry Company, on 30 December 2020. Major Min Bahadur Godar, Acting Officer Commanding of NMC welcomed The Force Commander in camp Faouar.
