Brigadier General M O Brien Appointed Acting Force Commander UNDOF
On the 18th of October 2019 Brigadier General Maureen O Brien was appointed Acting Force Commander of UNDOF until further notice.
The Irish Contingent (IRCON) haveofficially handed over the responsibility and authority to the Kazakhstan Contingent (KAZCON). Force Reserve Coy (FRC) transfer of authority ceremony was overseen by the HoM/FC Lt Gen Nirmal Kumar Thapa in Camp Faouar
