From 18 to 20 Febuary 2020 the Engineer Specialist Search Team (ESST) from Force Reserve Company (FRC) 60 Inf Gp UNDOF drawn from the Irish Defence Forces conducted a meticulous route clearance operation from UNP 85 to UNP 85 A. The ESST Team from FRC 60 Inf Gp UNDOF are equiped and trained with the most modern techniques and equipment used to conduct such operations in a safe manour. During the operation the Specialist Search Team conducted a through and meticulous search . The FRC ESST conducted the operation one day ahead of schedule . The clearance of this route will greatly assist with Freedom of Movement (FOM) of the Uruguayan Mech Inf Coy (UMIC) which currently operates within this sector.
