The Under Secretary General (USG) for Peace Operations, Mr Jean-Pierre LACROIX visited Syria from 06 to 08 Jan 24. Upon his visit in Syria, he was hosted by the UNDOF HoM and FC at Camp Faour and subsequently met the MLT and UNDOF personnel, and later met with the Senior Syrian Arab Republic Government Officials, namely the SSAD, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defence. The visit facilitated in an efficient and positive manner that reflects the professionalism and competence of UNDOF and to showcase its significant role within the region.
