On Tuesday the 21st of January 2020, the UNDOF family bid farewell to Col Luis Coitino out going Chief of Staff UNDOF HQ. Col Coitino had served as Chief Of Staff and A/DFC UNDOF during his 12 month tour of duty in UNDOF. To celebrate Col Coitinos exemplary tour of duty in UNDOF, the UNDOF family conducted a Stand down / HOTO ceremony to honour his hard work and dedication to the mission. In attendance during the ceremony was A/FC Brig Gen M O Brien, A/HoM Mr Bernard Lee and all Staff Officers from UNDOF HQ. The honour guard was provided with peace keepers from UMIC, FRC and NMC. The UNDOF family would like to wish Col Coitino every success in the future and a safe journey back to Uruguay . Col Martin Alverez also from Uruguay now assumes the duties of Chief of Staff UNDOF and we wish him the best of luck and congratulations in his new role.
