On Thursday the 13th of Feb 2020 the Uruguayan Mech Inf Coy (UMIC) held it first Medal Parade in UNDOF. The Contingent under the Command of Lt Col Ramirez are the first peace keepers from Uruguay to recive the UNDOF Medal. To mark this special event the Commander of the Uruguayan Army General Feola Paz and Deputy Minister of Defence Mr Berterreche Alvarez with A/FC UNDOF Brig Gen M O Brien were guests of honor. The Uruguayan contingent displayed an impresive march past with all peace keepers singing the anthem of the Uruguayan Army.
