In coordination with the UNDOF Training Cell, the UNDOF Medical Section conducted awareness programs on the COVID-19 outbreak on the 5th and 6th March 2020. Multiple sessions of classes were conducted for all the UNDOF Military Staffs, International /National Staffs and UNSTO Military Observers/Staffs at both Camp Faouar and Camp Ziouani in order to ensure maximum participation. The classes were based on latest reports from the CDC and WHO with the attempt to put to rest rumors and myths circulating around the outbreak. Stress was also given on the need to create your own ‘bubble of protection’ by ensuring basic preventive measures like practicing hand hygiene, respiratory etiquettes and maintaining social distancing. Similar, classes are being conducted to all Contingents by their respective Medical Officers.
