Special Coordinator USG SEA ,Mr. Christian Saunders visited UNDOF on 10th June,2023. HoM/FC Major General Nirmal Kumar Thapa along with DFC & other UNDOF members greeted him. USG was delighted to visit Mt. Hermon region, specially the Hotel Hermon, the highest UN manned position in world and he praised the dedication of troops to sustain their operational capabilities even in tough terrain and adverse weather conditions. He also interacted with female peacekeepers of NEPCON and INDCON and inspected their accomodation along with other basic facilities within the Camp. USG discussed with mission leadership the commitment and efforts of UNDOF mission to prevent and end the sexual exploitation and abuse.
