Force Reserve Company Irish Contingent Olympic Games

On Friday the 12th June Force Reserve Company Irish Contingent 61st Inf Gp UNDOF held a Military Olympics Competition in Camp Faouar. In Total 16 Teams of 3 entered the event with 1 over 50s veteran team. The events consisted of the following games,

1. Max Press Ups in 2 mins.

2. Max Chin Ups in 2 mins.

3. Kims Game.

4. Max Bench Press of 40Kgs in 2 mins.

5. Obsticle Course.

6. Mind Game.

7. Sprint and Recover.

8. Darts Challenge.

9. Penalty Taking.

10 Memory Challenge.

11. Vertical Hang for as long as possible.

The games were run with a relaxed atmosphere and proved to be very challenging for all who took part as they  both tested the soldiers mental and physical strenght. The day passed with prizes being given to the winning teams and the promise of running inter contingent Olympics in the near future.
