On 22 April 2021, the Official HOTO and Transfer of Authority Ceremony of the FIJIBATT  took place in Camp Ziouani. The outgoing Commanding Officer of FIJIBATT (Lt. Col. Penioni (Ben) NALIVA) transferred his command with the incoming CO of FIJIBATT (Lt. Col Aseri Rokoura ). The ceremony was officiated by UNDOF's Force Commander Lieutenant General  Ishwar Hamal.

During the ceremony, the incoming commander signed the Transfer of Authority documents and ceremonially exchanged the UN flag.  The Force Commander  Hamal extended his farewell to all outgoing troops, thanking them for their consistent and dedicated service to UNDOF. He also expressed his warm welcome and best wishes for the incoming FIJIBATT highlighting the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.
